The I-L-T Method

The I-L-T Method

Have you ever heard of the I-L-T method before? Do you know what it is? Do you know where this method came from?

The I-L-T method is a type of lead generation method in which network marketers and entrepreneurs use to generate leads and connect with leads in order to determine their needs to solve their problems.

“I” means invest. To invest in something is to put your 100% time, effort, and money into something to be able to learn and grow from the developmental stage to a more professional stage. It is a form of education, because when you invest in something, you are learning and growing from it.

“L” means learn. As you invest in your education, you learn and continue to develop the skills you need to better and improve yourself in order to become a more professional individual.

“T” means teach. Once you have invested your time and effort into what you want to learn, you now are in the stage to teach what you learn. You do not have to be an expert at teaching. You do not need to be certified in order to teach what you learn as a network marketer / entrepreneur.

All you need is the notes in which you take during your learning phase in order to teach. The notes in which you do not teach are your “uncashed checks.” The notes in which you learn and teach is the value and education you provide to your target market (your niche).

The more you use this I-L-T method, the better you get at it and you become an expert at it (which is why you do not need to be an expert to begin with).
